WMain00 posted:Lamont must have ruffled alot of feathers. She was the only person in Labour to say that she'd work with the SNP if independence came about and would form a Labour opposition in independent Scotland. What else would they expect her to plan to do? Book a bus to take every Scottish Labour member down to London, after a brief hour or so vandalising their offices in Holyrood and stealing the computers?

So what's the over/under on Findlay actually becoming leader? He does seem to be a bit less than completely afraid of doing anything left-wing so surely he won't have a lot of friends high up in the party.

baronvonsabre posted:For the record (since both you and twoot didn't include them), UKIP polled 2% (+1), Others 1%. Always nice to see the Greens polling better than UKIP. That's impressively low for UKIP, seeing how they got 10% of the vote in Scotland in the European Parliament election. Though that was on like a 33% turnout.

If we can make a scotpol thread that doesn't involve the same few jokes implying that all supporters of scottish independence are crazy racists being posted every couple of pages by the same posters then I might almost be in favour of it A similar moratorium on whatever hilarious satirical barbs its opponents are tired of hearing might also be agreed I guess, it's only fair
