I just saw someone post on facebook about ordering pizza in the middle of yesterday's storm.

And bitching about how long it took. ARE YOU loving KIDDING ME?!?!? :fuckoff:

The last time I delivered in a storm like what we had yesterday, I rang the doorbell just as sirens went off. Door opened, basically got yanked inside and told to shelter with the rest of the family, and hid in an interior closet with them. Walked out to find a destroyed car and neighborhood - lots of tree and roof damage to the neighborhood and their house, lots of car damage. My car was still idling, but wasn't near where I left it (it was a couple of houses away and turned at a weird angle) and had most of the glass broken, along with a lot of hail damage.

That storm was around 2001. Tornado touched down a few streets away. :stare: It was dead calm when I pulled up in front of their house, except for being pitch black outside. It was bright daylight when I walked back out.

That was really nice of those people to pull you inside instead of letting you back out there.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of those phones. I haven't heard much about the g3. Things are better than they used to be but I think htc and Samsung are more likely to keep their phone up to date. You may also want to consider a moto x+1.

I'd go to the store, play with all of the phones, and pick whichever you like the most.

I'm in the minority here, I don't drink at all. I used to enjoy a craft beer here and there but after my doctor told me to stop I haven't really gone back. The few times that I have drank since then I've realized that I don't like the taste of alcohol, can taste it much more than others, and generally don't like the feeling of being intoxicated.

My vice though is food. I can really put it away when I want to.

Computerchat: Holy poo poo, you guys might have me beat. I have an old Inspiron 1520 running Xubuntu but I haven't turned it on in months. I have a Toshiba laptop from a few years ago too but I don't use that one as much either. My main box is a AMD 1090T. I will probably make this a HTPC eventually once I upgrade my machine. I also have an old AMD dual core I'm using kind of as a server/dedicated Linux box. I've been throwing around the idea of building a HTPC or buying a dedicated file server but I keep not doing that.

I promised myself I wouldn't upgrade my computer until I hit 165 lbs. This was when I was around 175 lbs and I ballooned back up to 185. :(.

I'm sure when her $900 machine can't play any games besides the Sims or she realizes how much better everything looks on my girlfriend's 3 year old computer she'll be crying about it and I won't know what to tell her.

As much as I like AMD, they aren't as competitive as they used to be, not even in the budget market.

I survived Ikea and most importantly so did my relationship. :D.

Girlfriend bought a desk and we barely fit it in the Outback. We were afraid that we'd have to return it but I pushed the box in a little more and it finally fit. I am so glad that I bought this car and I'm glad we didn't drive her Corolla like we originally intended.

Didn't have time to put it together last night and I won't have a chance to help her until next weekend. She put together the last desk on her own so I think she'll be okay if she puts this one together by herself.

Computerchat: I threw Xubuntu on my 7 year old laptop. I finally looked into how much it would cost to replace the dead wifi card and it's only about $10. I may have to do that. Everyone who says you need an SSD no matter how old/slow your machine is harbors porn guilt. There is nothing wrong with spinning platters that are a few ms slower for seek time - unless you drop your poo poo all the time.

Looks like either would work for me. Would $10 for both and shipping cover it? Should we take this to SA Mart? You really are good at getting me to buy your things. :D.
