It was in July and I wouldn't say I called him lovely.

I just said that I thought Mudiay could be the top pick and that some mocks had reservations about him being the consensus #1. Due to his height or athleticism. I don't totally remember. But you do have a solid take on players way before the rest of us see them in action which is one of the many reason why you're mod.

quote:

Currently in the headlines for causing havoc in both Denver and New York, Melo has never shown the ability nor the desire to play man to man defense. He’s never displayed a positional understanding of weakside help, nor has he been able to blend himself into a team offense. The last time he truly fit in was with Boeheim at Syracuse, where their offense expects one on one play.

This is one of many reasons the NBA is the best professional sports league.
the NBA was deep in negotiation with my friends dad to become a league psychiatrist and consult with the athletes. He went to like two teams and did consulations as part of the process and declined their offer on the basis that it's "impossible to treat individuals that abuse psychoactive substances to the degree that they do as it would endanged their sanity and my medical creditionals" or something like that.

Yeah Anderson was a pretty big recruit, he just didn't score until this year, partially because he was playing for Virginia but also because he was a horrible shooter until last year when he suddenly started hitting 3s. That is usually a bad sign.
DX did a thing where they showed the change to his shooting mechanics and it's legitimately massive. Looks like he worked with a coach in between years or something. Not saying that it's sustainable, but he looks like another player its so different

what's happening is exactly what happened last year when wiggins stock was 'falling' despite him putting up an incredibly solid college season. okafor is dynamite, and one of the best offensive prospects in the past 10 years.

I read the ESPN insider thing on Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, because Chad Ford has him going to the Raptors at 20, and it makes it sound him sound pretty horrible. Like, "elite defence but needs to complete change his shooting to stick in the NBA at all" doesn't sound auspicious.
