There’s a lot of new construction and such on the Main Street just off where I live so whenever I notice something new I announce “downtown’s changing!” And my wife is none the wiser. I also managed to land the “Through the power of gentrification! There are some people who don’t like that word, but they don’t live here any more!” joke which both killed and totally bummed my wife because the street is on a good bus line and is filling up with three story high-price apartments.

I love that they were eating massive ice cream sundaes for that line, and there was no explanation for this. Francine is just the best, and probably one of my favorite sitcom characters. Wendy Schaal nails every line.

Just hit Jenny Fromdabloc. God this show is good. I feel like the early Obama era was hard on Haley, but maybe it's more that other characters shine so brightly.

Hayley went through a lot of seasons of being really underwritten, it's only since the move to TBS that she's started consistently getting episode and jokes. I think it's because she was originally very tied to the shows initial premise of being a political comedy and it took a while for the writers to figure out how to separate her character from that.

I’ve seen that episode 3 or 4 times now and never noticed the dress before Crazy how they foresaw such an eventuality so clearly so far in advance. I heard the writers had to do CIA interviews after the Bin Laden episode.
