This is season 14 and there are 22 total episodes.

Season 15 of another 22 episodes is already ordered.

So, currently, we have 42 unaired episodes.

I would have to imagine if the ratings stay where they want them, a 16th season would be ordered.
Show's approaching my current gold standard of quality & consistency in an animated series, King of the Hill.

Didn't Stan's satanist friend actually go to hell? I haven't watched that episode in ages, it's one of my favorite early ones. It's amazing how much this show has grown out of being a family guy clone, it's probably been the better show for almost 7 or 8 years now
I'd say, save for the first few S1 eps, AmDad has absolutely been the better show.

Casino Normale
(Season 12, Episode 11)
Francine steals from the CIA and pretends to be a super villain to incite Stan to be more seductive; Roger tricks Hayley and Steve into trapping Jay Leno so he can take revenge.

For me I think it's the Thanksgiving one with Stan's half brother, I just remember it being particularly awful. Plus the requisite American Fung.
I think the thanksgiving episode with francine's parents is the one i remember people not liking.

Reginald's theme song is still the best thing associated with the character, but what's really underrated was that whole subplot leading up to it, with Klaus and the concert tickets.

The first great episode to me is Francine's Flashback. Roger wasn't fully formed yet, sure, but I think shifting the conflict from Stan/Hayley to Stan/Francine fully exploited how wild & kooky she could be when going against her husband.

Meanwhile, the Bush dinner ep from S2 feels like early S1 leftovers, and I haven't bothered since it first aired.

So far Rogu has been doing fine as a gag character.
The show has such a deep bench that it only makes it more palpable when a character just doesn't work out

Reginald was truly the Scrappy Doo of this series, so I'm expecting him to come back as a crazed supervillain in the future

I've posted about this before, but I'm just going to go ahead and post about it again:

Reginald was a good character, however, the romantic subplot with him and Hayley was pure poison. Go back and watch the episodes where the two of them are together, none of the jokes land and the writing is just painfully unfunny. It didn't last long, but it was enough to ruin the character for most people.
I think the American Dad audience likes that its characters can turn into crazy-rear end gently caress ups, Reginald was too competent to ever be endearing to those viewers

I'm really glad that the TBS seasons have refrained from the well of "Steve's dating plots" and that the few we still get have been really good. I'm also happy that the writers have not been gun-shy about writing for Jeff in the past season or so; for the longest time, it felt like they weren't able to fit him into the family dynamic ever since the marriage.
