I am considering the purchase of a second home to use as a rental property. There is a plethora of information about how to go about it online but I'd love to hear some personal experiences. What did you buy and for how much? What do you charge for rent? What type of renters have you had and have you encountered any issues along the way? Any real-world experience is appreciated.
