Is the remake supposed to be harder? I was just getting the hang of Binding Of Isaac before Rebirth was released and now I feel like a bad player again.

Well, what the hell. I guess I got lucky with my items because I ravaged my latest run and beat Mom. Is this the part where I keep on playing and find all sorts of crazy stuff?

Also, is there any way to check what items do what on the Items screen? I can look at the items but there's no description.
