Cycle Asylum is p serious business usually but occasionally there is fun. nsap is right most of the time and no one really wants to admit it. n8 is always right, just ask him.

CA is that Triumph thing what looks like a Nighthawk but was actually much more poorly conceived

The 750 TSX, that's it.

well gosh i thought CA loved the versys. What i meant what CA is the angle grinder sparks coming off my 1974 honda cb750 of subforums but i thought the versys would be a more understandable analogy

edit: there's a guy locally trying to sell a tsx triumph for mad money and it's

I love the versys. I think it's just too functional and well-designed to be the most appropriate analogy.

Like the TSX, CA makes one think "Well, that's not what I thought it was" when inspected a little more closely.

Although everyone's versions of the versys analogy are pretty good and I :laffo:ed.

I run another bike forum, it's the most popular one of its niche of bikes. And I post here 50x as much as I post there :laffeaux:

All other forums have like one FOG, four good posters, and a thousand posters that quote picture dump posts in their entirety or use more smilies than actual text.

The only people who post a lot on model specific forums have a core of dudes that all call each other a variant of their first name and have utterly incomprehensible dialogue between them. Whether that's the abysmal spelling or the seven layered in-joke that lost all meaning at layer three, is hard to say.

But at least there's always someone trying to sell off a second hand luggage rack for a song so I'm not complaining.

As a side note I'm building up an old gs650 and was looking for a rear wheel to match the zx6r front wheel we're fitting up, but the 180-width zx6r rear is obviously too wide. Guess what bike has a nice 160-width with the same spoke stylings as a zx6r?? :coal:
