I really think he's probably the best orator of our time. I mean shame that he became an average president and all but 2008 was a great goddamn time to be a black person anywhere in the world. Finally understood why my dad (an American citizen) revered Kennedy so much, if it was anything like that. No other country or any other event does "Behold the great and glorious future that awaits us" then an US presidential election.

At least a Clinton candidacy means that we'll be getting some great speeches from a tag team of Obama/Bill - and I plan to be drunk or high to momentarily temper the mountain of cynicism I've acquired in the past six years for each and every one of 'em.

I don't get it - Trump's support has more or less stayed at steady 25-30% since he surged up, as opposed to the rest of the terrible field which has fluctuated as hell. Doesn't that mean that he's basically gotten everyone who is going to vote for him already? With all the crazy poo poo he has said I can't imagine anyone who isn't already supporting him is still on the fence. Isn't 30% of about 40% of the electorate like 12% percent of the total? Doesn't that mean he's still going to be crushed in the general even if he wins the nomination?

Wow

I basically politically awakened during 2008 and after that like 80% of my political following is American. But I am not American so someone explain. me why this preconception is wrong - you are retarded politically polarized. There isn't a single goddamn political opinion you are centered on, decades of increasing partisanship mean that no minor or major political issue -from school vouchers or abortion really has a middle ground.

Is it just Obama effect (black president), or what is the political demographic that is going flip from 2012? Like if you are a white person who votes for Democratic, it sure as poo poo isn't your economic prospects alone that motivate you to vote. Likewise for a white Republican. Both parties seem to be about same on that in grand view. So it's one of the identity issues, which are as monochromatic as the come.

Minorities seem to be decided - Nevada has like a million Hispanics, and I read 10,000 voted on GOP Primary, Hildawg is married to the first black president (or my Obama-sort African-American dad worships him anyway), going to be a record turnout, so I'm lost how Trump can turn anyone...or how Hillary can, but US is majority Democrat.

Also Trump fans get that they are an international joke from Vancouver to Shanghai, right? LMAO. Right when I thought America was finally going to become the elder statesman of the west. If president Trump ever becomes reality my last words are going to be laughter amidst nuclear fire, hopefully they will reach your ashes in some form.

As someone who is just interested in following this election for the sake of comedy, putting all actual or ironic Trump supporters on ignore (or just ignoring them) greatly improves the experience. You guys should probably do this, and when the answer to everything is just "*insane fabrication that is in no shape or way supported by anything else then at best the word of a person who can't get through one speech or interview without lying* TRUMP!" It's not like you're missing anything.

It's like watching a stand up comedy show except some person in the audience loudly proclaims that they genuinely believe what the comedian just joked about. Donald Trump is loving endless goldmine of entertainment, people who actually buy his poo poo are weird and creepy. People who pretend to be weird and creepy are just that in another way.

On the other hand they will make the actual election day very entertaining though. He's going to get the nomination, right? I don't think I can take Ted Cruz's face for much longer and Hillary is just boring. I'm not an American so I don't get how he can lose with the most votes and his voters won't burn everyone even remotely involved in that alive because that is some bullshit
