Calculords is a video game available for iOS and Android for $3 and it loving rules hardcore it's part CCG, part tactics game, part puzzle game. The puzzle element comes in by trying to get the numbers you need to play your cards via the calculator, using multiplication, addition, and subtraction.    it's made by internet funnyman Seanbaby and it's basically the best smartphone game out there. but don't think just because it's a smartphone game that makes it inferior to other portable games... this is most definitely a worthy addition to any gamer's collection. and honestly if you use android you should have a bunch of google opinion rewards dollars waiting to be used already edit: also there are no randomized microtransaction packs or any of that dumb bullshit, you can buy some really powerful card packs but they're unnecessary, i didn't buy them. i did pay $2 for the permanent fun club membership though, which gives you an extra card drop at the end of each match. I thought the explosive dude would be really tough since his units were killing mine pretty easily, but then I realized he had no push units at all. I think Space Dog is my favorite so far

how many cards are you playing each turn? once I figured out that you can do one arithmetic operation and then select another number my calculord bonuses skyrocketed. it's rare for me to not be able to play 3-4 cards per turn. also create a custom deck with only cards you like as soon as you get a few new good ones.

each character seems to have quirks as to how it picks to lane its units. building up a massive force in a lane and buffing it with +1AP while just doing enough to defend the others works great
