If you like you can build up an academy which lets you identify scrolls/potions for new characters, but it is entirely optional each character you make. The worlds are randomly generated, you can collect loot, and all the class skills are open to you. You can crush enemies up close as a Fightermans, use a bow as a Rangermans, so on and so forth. My favorite class is the Necromanser which lets you debuff people and wreck poo poo. It has all the Roguelike trademarks such as collecting sweet loot, fighting insanely out of depth monsters, and eventually becoming insanely powerful. eonwe fucked around with this message at 22:40 on Nov 12, 2014 |

Like when you make a character you can choose to identify scrolls by talking to an NPC, identify potions by talking to another, etc. There is an NPC that allows you to upgrade your stats, but its entirely optional and I've never used him
