Since there's still no ETA of more Gamecube adapters, you may have more luck preordering from the UK (Nov 28) or Japan (Dec 06). Japan also has a bundle of just the controller (black or white) and adapter for ~$50 shipped, but you'll have to wait longer.

Everyone I know calls the right stick a C-stick if they're playing Smash. The nipple contour of the C-stick is easier to flick than a regular stick, so that's slightly more comfortable. I hate the layout of the gamepad/pro controller though. It's like the 360 controller, but bad. I'll stick to classic controller pro for Wii U games.

Unfortunately the c-stick is buggy and halts your momentum for aerials, unless you use this control scheme as a workaround. It forces you to use A for Smash attacks but that's the lesser of two evils.

It's not that your momentum is stopped, it's that you're locked into that momentum while attacking. You can charge smash attacks with the C-stick this time around, and it appears to be a side effect of that. Basically unless you 'flick' the stick perfectly, the game becomes confused and thinks you are charging a smash attack, even though you are in the air, and thus you cannot move until the move finishes. It's not intentional.

Mew2king is one of the campiest Smash players in existence. Even in Melee he'll often abuse Sheik's up-B to stay invincible on the ledge. He's mainly the reason that Brawl had a ledgegrab limit. It doesn't seem like his Sonic has been fruitful, so I'm hopeful that the game will stay aggressive like what we've seen.

It depends on how drastically it affects character balance. If there are multiple large stages with platforms that give them trouble, and they can only ban one stage, then they'll always get hosed over by the counterpick. Likewise if Duck Hunt Dog winds up being high tier, they'll probably want to ban stages that give him even more of an advantage.
