Also I'm going to enjoy this game as the first Pokemon game since I've come down from being competitive obsessed. I don't even plan on getting good natures for my pokes, this is purely nostalgia driven.

It has 8 baby pokemon. Fourteen legendary pokemon, all of whom look stupid. Half of the 'new' designs are just evolutions for old designs, a lot of which are bad. Then you have the Actually New designs of which there's a much higher ratio of poo poo:good in this game than any other. Yeah it has good designs, and other gens have bad designs, but Gen4 was the loving worst.

I actually liked the water routes in Hoenn because gen 3 seemed to actually have a good focus on discovering hidden islands and poo poo. That was cool

Nobody cares about NFEs, I have no problems with legendary creep and the new evos of old families are actually, mostly good.
