When I was a kid I slept over my best friend's house and we tried to stay up all night. We'd never done it before and at around 4am to stay awake we were doing impressions of Pokemon for each other. At one point I was so tired that I sat down on the floor and wrapped my entire body in a blanket. He saw me and he was like "Stop! You're going to sleep!" And I said "No, no, I'm being a Cloyster." And he said "Oh." And a few minutes later I was asleep.

Venesaur is classic even though I don't like him as much as I used to. Meganium is gay. Serperior would be a TON cooler if he was Grass/Dragon and they ever released his loving human being hidden ability that reverses all stat changes so he could just spam Leaf Storm and Draco Meteor all day while boosting the poo poo out of his Sp Atk, while hiding behind really bulky defenses and great speed.

The best starter of the X/Y gen was Froakie, because he evolves into a ninja and, if you get one with Protean and good IVs, is actually useful in online matches.

x/y was the first gen where i didn't like any of the starter pokemon. they all look dumb. greninja is ok i guess but still not something i'd want to use. luckily every other pokemon in that gen was rad
