It's Dire Straits. The dire straights of the 90s was a band called Creed.

- 7 (or "Se7en" or "Seven") is a film starring Brad Pitt.
- Brad Pitt was in "Sleepers" with Kevin Bacon.
- Kevin Bacon was in "The Woodsman" with David Alan Grier.
- David Alan Grier was in "Stuart Little" with Julia Sweeney.
- Julia Sweeney played the character of Pat on Saturday Night Live.
- "Pat" speaks the intro to Ugly Kid Joe's song "Everything About You"

And so we have:

1 = I
8 = Hate
7 = Everything About You

It's definitely there in the original song so pick the preferred explanation: either they played some non-album version, or the audio stream was compressed to hell and back and wiped out that sound somehow, or you're getting old and losing the ability to hear the higher frequencies :corsair:

It sucks that an individual comic title will generate less revenue than the time Iger spends picking his nose because a lot of these forgotten Disney shows could do great as comics. Would be interesting if Disney starts using Marvel as their comic publisher though.

Turns out it's been attempted with Gargoyles by both Disney and Marvel (plus others), but just didn't take off: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gargoyles_(TV_series)#Comics

Granted, that was before either DisneyMarvel were what they became later. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried for a reboot of the franchise, I just doubt there's a huge audience for it.
