I did bodyweight exercise stuff for about an hour, I like to switch it up so I don't get bored, a lot of push ups (diamond and wide arm) and various core exercises (iron cross, russian twist, sit up, crunch) though. I lift weights sometimes and run others though.

how do you feel zook, cutting back on all that stuff seems like it might make a boy cranky

Zook
I probably shouldn't post this, but I'm really surprised and kind of proud of myself for not smoking/being consistent after screwing up, I've been a pack a day smoker for over 5 years until now.

Awesome!

you should be proud of yourself for that

It's weird, I think I definitely have more emotions, which kind of sounds weird like I'm a robot or something. But I guess I mean that I have higher highs and lower lows, when I'm tired I'm tired as dirt, because I don't use energy drinks and cigarettes to trick my body, when I have energy I have really good energy, because it's natural. Quitting smoking was irritable at first, but now I don't even notice, unless I'm drinking (heavily). Financially I wish I was doing a little bit better, but I've definitely made a big jump from where I was.

I think my next goal is going to be improving my sleep. I recently watched National Geographic's "Sleepless in America" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ti20okupT6U) and it seems like a good thing to work on.

Zook
Also sorry for not updating more regularly.

alnilam

you may have drank a lot but i think you should focus on the fact that you are doing aweosme at not smoking

as many posters said it's hard to conquer many demons at once so you should be really proud that you're kicking smoking's rear end, maybe you can ease up on the drinking soon once smoking is in the bag :)

Honestly I think energy drinks are harder than cigarettes, the craving for cigarettes goes away after a while, but being tired only gets worse over time...and going from having the ability to give yourself energy anytime you need it, to not, really sucks.

Mathhole
