It's a dying art form, and it's nice to see the younger generation picking it up. Speaking of, there was a well-known dancer in the Japanese pop and lock scene back in the nineties that went by the handle Strong Machine. He eventually settled down, became a buddhist monk and had a kid. Strong Machine 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSNywJ3ZjWM flavor.flv has a new favorite as of 04:03 on Jan 14, 2015 |

Do not buy a ferret. They sleep constantly. They freak out for no reason. They will steal anything. From anybody. They won't clean themselves. They have terrible depth perception. They're overly dramatic. They can't act. They only belong in one place.

The saving grace is that the thing is only programmed to react to the fact that it is now off-balance and correct itself. It does not know that it was kicked, nor who kicked it. When the robots take over, it will be swift and it will be brutal, but it will not be vengeful.

If you want an animal that will grow to resent you and attack you with its razor-sharp claws or something that destroys your house while you coo about how cute it is, just get a cat like everybody else.

I like giving pets old-timey mobster nicknames, like Brooklyn, Slick and Jimmy Fingers. Jimmy Fingers was a ferret who liked to steal things. Also he bit fingers.

It's just a good way to trick kids into not messing with bird nests. Like when they say to wait an hour after eating before you go swimming. "You'll cramp up and drown" is a lot more convincing than "Why can't you little shits sit still for fifteen goddamn minutes we are on vacation for god's sake"

Pretty much all members of the Musteloidea superfamily have the same behavior and make the same sounds. The most you'll ever hear from a skunk, badger, wolverine or ferret is a soft chuckling kind of sound when they're really excited: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KpqiBhyP7Q Otters are the exception: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4muQOgayq8 But they still make the same sound as the others: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQ_Krei6EKw

He takes the turn perfectly in week 20. Comes in wide, cuts the corner and slows down just enough to put him right in the centre of the doorway. Then the other one crashes into him.

Pyroi posted:Impossible, all pups are the cutest dogs in the world. I went looking for an ugly dog to prove you wrong, and it seems like there's a certain point where the uglier a dog is, the cuter it becomes. As near as I can tell, that point starts almost immediately after conventional cuteness drops to zero. Theoretically, there must exist a dog that is far enough from cuteness and ugliness that it is completely uninteresting. Some sort of bland, flavourless dog that occupies the lone spot of 'the uncute puppy.' Should we ever find that dog, however, it would immediately become cute by virtue of its uniqueness.

That's pretty interesting. Usually doing something like that is saying that you trust them to take your place, to be the person who will represent you and your legacy after you're gone. When you name somebody after yourself, you're saying "I believe that one day you will be the person I wish I could be, you are all my pride and joy in this world," so it's interesting that it's being directed at this cute little bird. And I'm guessing your name isn't William.

I figure at this point he's getting picky about it, but if you come up with something good he'll give you a real show. Like, you ask him to palm a basketball he'll be like "there's a hundred photos of that, gently caress off," but you come up to him with a really cute animal he'll pose for a whole album.
