Yep, originally it was Grim and Evil and then it got split into Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Evil Con Carne. It was about an evil brain in a jar with a bear body it didn't have complete control over. Also there was a stomach in a jar on the bear that the brain didn't control either. They tried to take over the world, or something.

Either way they're surprisingly cheap to commission for animation, they charge like €3 a frame, so they must have some kind of process for doing this in a way that doesn't take forever.

It's actually somewhat rare for personifications of Death to be blamed for massive tragedies, in my experience. The Grim Reaper is evil in some things, like Castlevania, but even then it's rarely a "it's your fault people die!" thing, they just also happen to be a jerk and working for Dracula. Fanart about death personifications: (he killed a grim reaper, that counts)

Mintergalactic posted:Tatooine is where all the uninformed space hicks live, it's pretty much way too far away from coruscant for anybody to care about jedis Tatooine is established in the Old Republic era to be basically a trap for settlers, because scans make it seem like there's a ton of useful metals on the planet but they're all flawed and corrode incredibly fast, making them basically worthless. Hence it gets settled then abandoned and forgotten, then re-discovered and re-settled, over and over. Generally the rich, powerful, and informed don't end up on a barren rock made of whatever the iron equivalent of pyrite is where the main job seems to be "a farmer, but instead of crops it's water because it's a loving desert and you have to devote your profession to condensing moisture from the air to even have water".

Simply Simon posted:- pyrite IS iron (sulfide) Star Wars has like fifty metals that are core to everything that they make that don't exist. I said "iron" for simplicity because it's some metal that is valuable because it's used in a lot of stuff, not because it's shiny or rare, and "pyrite" because it's Fool's Gold, as in "fool's iron/fool's whatever made up metal people in Star Wars mine". And in the Star Wars universe when they talk about it corroding fast they mean like when a car rusts and falls to pieces because it no longer holds together strongly, Tatooine ore was causing stuff like spacestations falling apart. I don't know why you'd even bother bringing science into the series that gave us lightsabers.

am I late to chart chat because the 0verflow games have an amazing chart. My favourite part is the Inou line on the right where it's five or six generations of the same father. Apparently Tomaru Sawagoe has like mind control powers and is immortal but needs power from his descents or something. I tried to look up the reasons behind it, but I found a snippet from one of the games where his daughter is telling her boyfriend they have to break up because she's becoming her father's wife and I decided I didn't want to look any further. Have some other fanart Jasmine from Aladdin as a slug for... some reason Someone's Yoshi fursona who wants to have sex with Captain Crunch.

Now see, it would be easy to just post a bunch of fan trap cards from Yu-Gi-Oh here. Lord knows those get extremely weird, but usually they steal the art, and you can just make them with online generators even if you can't figure out how to cleanly edit them in paint. So I went a little deeper.
