i lived in southeast ohio for a couple years. every night for a couple months a giant wolf spider would walk out into the middle of the carpet and stare at me for awhile i watched tv. we were pretty good buds

Back when I lived in a basement suite, wolf spiders would sometimes crawl over my feet while I was sitting at my desk.
The place had a fly problem. I am pretty sure the upstairs neighbours kept raw meat on the floor because I would regularly see maggots drop out of the ceiling vents on to my carpet.
If it hadn't been for those spiders, I'm positive the bug situation could have been much worse.

This is a very long video that uses experimental music to stimulate the descent into dementia. The music represents memories, and how they become utterly, irreparably tangled and confused as the mind loses it's grasp on reality. Maybe it's just me, but I find that idea terrifying. If you want the full effect, start from the beginning. Stage 4, a little over 2 hours in, is where it really gets hosed up.

Post-Awareness Stage 5 confusions and horror. More extreme entanglements, repetition and rupture can give way to calmer moments. The unfamiliar may sound and feel familiar.
Time is often spent only in the moment leading to isolation.

STAGE 6 : 05:04:32
Post-Awareness Stage 6 is without description.
