Christopher Nolan makes good space movies.

As long as someone fixed the audio so the dialogue is audible and the explosions are not ear shattering it's a good shew.

I've seen through the whole series a few time and I've come to the conclusion that the Friends are really terrible people. Nothing they do is in keeping with any social conventions.

It's extra funny when you see everyone as the villain.

Whereas the characters in Always Sunny or Peep Show are much more honest.

Not even kidding.

Yeah, I'm nitpicking. It's not even an original thought. Lots of people say that about Friends.

Not Two Broke Girls though, that is awful.

Try The Knick, it's one of the best series in recent years. It's a different theme but it has some fantastic original characters and honestly I don't think I've seen a better cinematography in any series. It has 2 self-contained seasons but sadly can only be bought separately on Amazon or iTunes. Warning - it has a lot of realistic gore that some people may not me able to stomach.

I can hear that dripping sound from the operating theater in my head now.

Great show but it's not for everyone.

Fortitude on Amazon Prime is a mystery/thriller with outstanding casting, great directing and scenery, but poor writing. I'm 4 episodes in and it's good enough that I will finish it especially since I heard it picks up steam in the latter half of the season. I was getting a sci-fi vibe too and when I looked it up, apparently I was right, although nothing overtly sci-fi has emerged plotwise yet. I just wish it was a more straightforward mystery and story instead building the entire season around red herrings which seems to have become popular again in British mysteries. It's one of those shows where everyone's presented to the audience as a suspect regardless if they had any motive or opportunity. It's a soap opera murder mystery but is otherwise well done and might be worth watching to some people.

I looked up "damned with faint praise" in the dictionary and was reminded that dictionaries do not work that way. But so yeah I really want to watch this but feel like I'm not going to for some reason now.

This most current duh moment was the nostalgic 50's diner with servers Marlin Brando and Lu-seal Ball.

The lightheartedness of the animal puns is a great counterbalance to the darker material which is spectacularly unfunny.

You mess it up by tying it to one of the most over-written and inbred franchises out there. You've gotta remember that Castlevania was begun back in the days when naming a character "Alucard" deserved you spoilering that it's actually DRACULA spelled backwards!

Most of the stories for most of the Castlevania games are incomprehensible garbage though. They throw a new Belmont in, add in Dracula's son and some other subcharacters, and then it's just a vehicle for you dodging vampire bats and whipping candles and using crosses as boomerangs. I'm sure there's a manga for it, which is mainly filled with darkly brooding male heart-throbs, who pensively brood, darkly. A lot.

Vampire Hunter D?

Anyways if you want a good show with Frankensteins, wolfs man, mummies and Draculas watch Penny Dreadful.

Penny Dreadful was fun and solid until the final season, when they clearly had to throw everything into a bucket and then cement it into closure. It reminds me of Sliders, where it started off awesome but went off the rails a bit as it went. Also the dude.

Apparently they're tying up some loose ends in a comic if you're into that kind of thing.

I didn't see and maybe never will see Deadwood (and Carnivale?) because they both got cut short as well but I'd recommend Penny Dreadful regardless of the slapdash "conclusion"
