I'm looking for a decent shower head. The one I have now doesn't have near enough pressure. I don't need anything super fancy. I looked on Amazon, but wanted to hear some other opinions.

On that note, can anyone recommend one of those rainfall showerheads?

I bought this one a few months ago and love it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003064FXY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The head doesn't come with an arm, so depending on what you are replacing, you probably need one of these too: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0064TYE9Y/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Still, overall ~$50 and it's pretty great. We have really good water pressure though, I imagine it wouldn't be all that great if you don't (I think that's probably true for any rainfall head)

Thanks! I'll take a look :)

drat! Got another one. My blender just kicked the bucket. Anyone got a suggestion for a good blender that will stand up to crushing ice? I make a lot of smoothies but I don't need one of those one serve smoothie blenders.

This is like the go to poorman vita-mix. I got one on meh.come for $100 refurbished. They've been popping up on slickdeals.net a lot as well on various sites for decent deals.

So pretty much keep replacing lovely blenders, get a vitamix (or blendtec I guess), or get the one above. Some ok refurbished deals on vita-mixs on their site sometimes but still expensive as gently caress

The little smoothie cups are amazing as well for quick smoothies etc. Has a pulse setting that works good for crushing ice.

Wow! Vitamix sure is proud of their blender :homebrew: Thanks for the suggestion :)
