I have this one and it owns, goes down to $80 sometimes

http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-996-...rds=harmony+hub

You set up the hub and then configure your devices and up to 6 "activities" where it turns on the devices and switches to the proper inputs, I have:

Cable box
Apple TV
4 port HDMI switcher with 360, PS4, Chromecast, extra HDMI cable for connecting the laptop or whatever

and can access each of these activities at the push of a button, also can control everything using either the remote or the app, it controls everything even the cheap monoprice switcher no problem and the hub comes with two IR dongle thingies if you want to hide any devices in cabinets.

I'm looking for a large drinking container, preferably one with a handle, dishwasher safe, and an easily securable cap. I emphasize "large" because my husband goes through insane amounts of water a day. The one he's currently using is about 2 liters, but the opening is tiny and mildew tends to grow inside easily. Please to help?

Doesn't have a handle but I use one of these and it's great, really easy to wash because it unscrews at the middle.

I used to use a pair of tinted safety glasses that sorta looked sporty to run but I can't for the life of me find them. Instead of going out to get another pair I was hoping to get a couple of burner pairs online.

Shipping to Canada.

I have bought from all 3 sites and they're all pretty much the same. I bought $50 tinted prescription aviators from them and I still use them all the time.

I also have some sport goggles that have been good but I don't remember from which site I got them.

These own btw, had to stack two to handle my ridiculous massive ice water bottle but still way better than anything else I have tried

I have a Zojirushi Mr Bento that I use to take my lunch to work, it's awesome but I wish it had a couple more containers for morning and afternoon snacks. Does such a thing exist? Basically I want the same thing, but taller with at least two more containers.

Thanks I'll see if I can find these locally to check them out, would lose the thermos component but that might not be a huge deal if it fits my storage needs

Maybe this is better for the Software/Hardware forum, but I was looking into getting a Wireless Adapter for my desktop so I can re-decorate without and new cords.

I don't need a specific recommendation necessarily; but the price range is like, from $6 to over $150. It's not clear to me why that is. Are USB ones worse than ones that you plug into your PCI slots? Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these or a basic understanding.

usb ones are perfectly fine and should be dirt cheap I've used these and they work well

Might be even cheaper on the monoprice site

Lots of adjustability and very spacious. It's not 100% waterproof but I have used it in quite heavy tropical rain with minimum leaking and zero leaking in the laptop pocket. Ignoring the 'lol tacticool' name/description it's a great bag for the (low) price.

My favorite headphones for commuting are my Sennheiser mm100 http://en-us.sennheiser.com/bluetooth-headset-stereo-mm-100

I have had this pair forever and they don't make them anymore so if they break I'll be sad, also sucks when I forget to charge them because I hate wired headphones for commuting.

Any recommendations on a similar pair? It's surprisingly hard to look for behind the neck bluetooth headphones that don't seem like cheap garbage.

Seconding TravelPro, I've had this one (Crew 9) for years and it still looks like new after 9 or so trips. I also have a bigger version that I check in and it's also like new, while most other luggage I've had falls apart after 3 or 4 trips at most.

As for laptop bags I am using a Chrome Soma bag that is perfect for a 15" Macbook and holds a bunch of other stuff, the sling style strap is really comfortable and reliable.
I know it's not really the style you're asking for, but it's an option that I recommend. It's also pretty good about handling heavy rain, no snow here so I haven't tested that.

A bit more costly though. Does philips have smart bulbs that are resilient enough for outside? The fixtures are in an enclosure, so they aren't directly in elements, but it's not climate controlled by any stretch

$50 for the hub + two bulbs vs $30 for the switch posted above. Thinking about it setting up a light switch is not really difficult so yeah, definitely better for your use case since non-smart led bulbs are dirt cheap.

Phillips smart bulbs work well enough outside in my experience, I have one in my balcony and it's still going strong.

I think this is probably a strange request, but can anyone recommend a good mono IEM/earbud? Do they even make really good ones? My girlfriend is deaf in one ear, and as a result when she uses normal stereo headphones she only gets one half of whatever she’s listening to. I would spend up to like $75, but preferably less. Posted in the headphone thread as well, but I figure this is esoteric enough that I’d post here too.

Depending on why she's deaf in one ear, I hear those bone conduction headphones can help. I read the other day that since they "send" the sound directly to the inner ear, they are good for people who are deaf or hard of hearing due to eardrum injuries. Might be full of poo poo though, I haven't done any proper research about it.

I just have them scheduled and my routine is consistent enough that I almost never need to open the Hue app.

One drawback though is that if you have a power outage in the middle of the night, when the power comes back all your Hue bulbs will be on at 100%. Has happened only a couple times to me so it's not a huge deal, but I didn't expect it to work that way for some reason.

I just want a low profile thing to plug into the wall (USA) and charge an iPhone, iPad and Kindle (2 Lightning’s and a Micro USB.)

I’ve seen a lot of options on amazon but I’m wary to plug 1500 dollars into something crappy, so here I am! Anyone travel a lot and can throw me a recommendation?

I own 3 of these, have two around the house and one for travel, I use it to charge my phone, iPad and headphones and it has worked perfectly. Another one to charge my bike lights and garmin and another one in the living room for guest phones when I have people over, never a problem with any device.
