I need a backpack with two zippered areas, one of which has a padded slot for a laptop. The zippers need to not break after 1-2 years of use and ideally it'll have clips to secure across the torso. Any favorite backpacks along these lines?

If you can afford it, the Tom Bihn brain bag is great. Although you have to buy the laptop padded case separately. Ive had mine for around three years now and it's still in great condition.

Just came in here to ask about how to keep my place smelling nice when it's too cold out to keep windows open very long...

Additionally, can anyone recommend a toothpaste?

I use Sensodyne Pronamel Gentle Whitening, but I feel like it's just numbing my teeth to eliminate the sensitivity, which I doubt is healthy.

I have no idea if this is even a thing, but I'd really be into something that can keep my teeth strong and rebuild poo poo, if possible. My family just has genetically lovely teeth and I feel like I'm always getting a cavity.

Started using this about a month ago. Great flavor and fluoridated to help with your rebuilding. They've got a a bunch of other flavors too. I like the amerelli liquorice also.

I'm looking for a large drinking container, preferably one with a handle, dishwasher safe, and an easily securable cap. I emphasize "large" because my husband goes through insane amounts of water a day. The one he's currently using is about 2 liters, but the opening is tiny and mildew tends to grow inside easily. Please to help?

I've had one of these for 4-5 years now.

Just around 2 liters, no handle but food-grade stainless steel and they make several different types of caps for it.

My boyfriend is really hard to shop for, so I'm asking this thread for Christmas ideas. Looking for unique or interesting things that aren't over $100. His likes include:

-Death metal
-Spicy stuff (hot sauce and peppers. He literally puts ghost chili in just about everything he cooks)
-Craft beer (it'd have to be something really unique, he's tried just about everything and has plenty of glasses and growlers)
-Video games
-Guns
-Meat/cooking
-General nerdy crap
-Working out
-Espresso
-Hiking

Right now my "to get" list is some good beef jerky and a digital meat thermometer. Just looking for something else that's really cool to go along with them. TIA :)

What about a starter kit for making his own beer?

The Kayak is this model (http://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Elements-Friday-Harbor-Adventure/dp/B003BUKWXQ/). I just bought a cheapo foot pump (http://www.amazon.com/Intex-69611E-Bellows-Foot-Pump/dp/B001ANYRGE) to evaluate my needs and experiment with "good enough." I like the idea of being able to deflate as well, since we have some air-mattresses and it's always been helpful for them. I have an old battery powered pump (4 D batteries), but for something I'd take out of the house, I'd like some kind of backup, and for 30 bucks this guy is pretty tempting (http://www.amazon.com/Intex-Quick-Fill-Rechargeable-110-120-21-2CFM/dp/B004N10RPK). Only worry is the PSI isn't listed and I don't want a squishy kayak.

I just got the massdrop for th as t kayak. It came with a pump and paddle.

The paddle is branded by advanced elements as well and has a lock on the valve.

Edit: If you want to stay with a foot pump.

Speaking of backpacks, I'm after one that isn't huge as I'm going to be using it when on my motorcycle, but has a good use of space. Currently I'm using one of the drawstring backpacks and it's not bad but the drawstrings are annoying as hell when trying get them over a jacket and while wearing gloves. Looked into hiking packs but they seem to be almost the same but costing more. Looked at motorcycle backpacks but they're either goofy, expensive or goofy and expensive.

I have two Kriega bags. The R25 backpack and a US10 tailbag. Great bags.

You left off a 0 if you're talking about a shuffler you'd find in a casino.
