5lb is plenty imo. ive been on the same 5lb fill for about a year, apparently enough to carbonate a bunch of 2L bottles and about 40 gallons of beer (across several kegs in a keezer). 5lb is also pretty convenient in terms of being easy to store/carry (eg it can fit under the sink)

if you just want to carbonate any liquid then here you go:

- 5lb co2 tank (105ish or less new/filled, then 15ish to refill)
- good regulator (65)
- tubing+ball lock (9)
- 'carbonater' adapter (15) to hook it up to 2L bottles

under $200 for a complete system, or way less if you go used for the co2 tank which is the majority of the cost

this is what i have, i used it to carbonate some baby carrots thr other day and it wad pretty rad to eat them and feel them crunch then fizzzzzzzz

they wouldn't call it a walkin around beer if you weren't supposed to drink it while walkin around, and since the street outside is a no open container zone you gotta chug it and smash it on your head before you walk out, you can't open it outside of the store unless you go at least across a block away to get out of the no open container zone, so it's gotta be a walkin around in the store beer

The first video, posted shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday evening, depicts company security meeting with Schaefer in an office setting. The security officer then takes possession of Schaefer's company laptop and other devices.
"I just got fired," said Schaefer. "Or suspended."
In the second video, Schaefer, now in his car and pulling out of the company parking lot, laments that he is out of a job and "homeless"
“Companies don’t really value entrepreneurship or the ability to create something," Schaefer said. "They want you to be there and work there, right, but they don’t let you do your own thing, even though you might have your own ambitions and dreams. I guess the only way is to do it is to not work somewhere.”

real estate is a weird business. i swear it's second only to hip hop when it comes to conspicuous consumption.

like you can be a workaday realtor, nothing near the level of john galt's properties, but you still have to put on aspirational airs. cant show up in a sensible car, people will think you're not doing well and therefore can't pump money out of them (i really don't understand this aspect of it). you would think being practical and in touch with working people would be desirable but for some reason people want to see some nouveau riche bullshit.

i can't even imagine what its like when youre selling 1m+ properties to foreign investors, although being a smug prick with a fatal case of dunning-krueger probably helps

yeah it's weird because people seem to want someone who knows what they are doing and use the car and office as a proxy for that but the nicer the car the more money the realtor is taking from a transaction and not really doing any work.

a $500/hour real estate lawyer will do the whole transaction and still only come out to a few grand and save you a shitload of money over a realtor too, but they won't drive you around and hold your hand on all the stuff like inspections like a realtor does.

As best I can tell what happened is the following:

there was an anti-harassment panel planned.

gamergate people went nuts and demanded their own panel

sxsw gave in and let them have a panel

the anti-harassment panel was subjected to so much harassment and threats that sxsw canceled the panel citing safety and worrying that it would spill over into the rest of the concert and get in the way of their brand engagement opportunities

someone had the ability to rub two brain cells together and went ahead and canceled the GG panel too because you loving know who was behind the threats in the first place and it would look awful to let them have a panel after they bullied the others off.

GG idiots are probably going bonkers over this but I don't give enough of a poo poo to check.

SXSW makes you upvote and downvote panels and so the online harassment comments thread was entirely death threats and rape threats and doxxing, SXSW refused to remove any of it because "it's a discussion between two legitimate viewpoints free speech" as you see a panel where everyone agreed would be "boring"

Media organisation BuzzFeed has said it will pull out of the festival entirely unless both the panels are reinstated. In a letter sent to Forrest by Ze Frank, the president of Buzzfeed Motion Pictures, the organisation said that: “BuzzFeed has participated deeply in SXSW for years, and our staffers are scheduled to speak on or moderate a half-dozen panels at SXSW 2016.

“We will feel compelled to withdraw them if the conference can’t find a way to do what those other targets of harassment do every day — to carry on important conversations in the face of harassment. We hope you can support the principle of free speech and engage a vital issue facing us and other constituents on the event.”
