I beat the Turtles 2 arcade game on NES with my friend for the first time like 3 or 4 years ago. I'm pretty sure that's the only beat em up I've ever legit beaten on console. Gotta get to shredder with a lot of lives because he does have a bullshit 1 hit kill.

It's annoying when you're young and just starting out but it encourages players to learn how to play the game. I wouldn't have nearly as much skill if the Super Star Wars trilogy hadn't been as hard as it was.

Me and a friend were very bad at games and we were playing Metal Slug 2 in Kawaks and our boss strat was to throw grenades until we died and then throw more I checked at the end and it would have cost us $37 to make it through the game like that on a real machine
