Well, it could be that Fusion Gongenzaka is the tall figure that went with Fusion Yuzu. That'd bring us up to 4 Yuyas, 3 Yuzus (including the unseen Ruri) and 2 Gongenzakas which seems appropriate.

A manly Gongenzaka duel would be nice but hey, we're getting Dude That Will Punch You For Card Games Vs Yuya And His Two Blood-Thirsty Dragons Trying To Take Over, so that looks promising.

There's a like a 99% chance that he will summon Rebellion Dragon at the end in desperation and go temporarily crazy.

I've been playing for shortly over a month now and I really gotta say the XYZ format is a lot better then the Synchro format that came before it. While some of the new decks are kinda bullshit (spellbooks :argh:) the XYZ have really powered up a lot of old decks. Not to mention all the additional support for old archetypes (intentional and unintentional) that keeps coming out. Being able to build decks like Vehicroids, lvl 2 swarm and cyberdarks and go toe to toe with the top teir decks is pretty great.

I recommend DevPro to anyone that feels like playing. The ability to pop in and immediately find a game definitely makes it easier to find the time to play.

It probably helped that there today are things like yugitubers (so you efficiently can keep up with what is new) and the yugioh wikia (elaborate card tips for almost every card in the entire game) but it wasn't nearly as difficult as it first seemed. The best new thing is Devpro, it is fully automatic (like the DS games) so you don't actually need to know the rules by the back of your hand anymore to play. It's pretty great when getting back into things. :shobon:

Also that card only showed up 10 times in seasons 1 and 2. Pot of Greed is in 59 episodes.

Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity are the dominant writing crutch for most of the original and GX. They're gone by the time of 5Ds though and never return as far as I can remember.

The DS games are pretty much as friendly as it gets since they ease you into everything, otherwise your sure bet is Devpro.

my main problem is deck building which I don't really understand all too well.

Here I can only recommend that you start looking up what others players do which is best accomplished by the yugioh wikia, yugitubers or the pojo yugioh forum. The basics are the same as they've always been, you should aim for a 42-40 card deck, at least 50% of those should be monsters in most archetypes and always fill up your extra deck. If there's anything specific you'd like to know just ask.

The only thing that fusion needs to catch up to synchro and xyz are "generics". :colbert:

In the non-joke department,

quote:

Elder God Noden
1 Synchro or Xyz Monster + 1 Synchro or Xyz Monster
When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 Level 4 or lower monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, but its effects are negated. When this card leaves the field, banish that target.

There's also,

quote:

Beast-Eyes Pendulum Dragon
1 DARK Dragon-Type monster + 1 Beast-Type monster
Must be Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by Tributing the above cards you control (you do not use "Polymerization"), and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card destroys a monster by battle: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the original ATK of the Beast-Type monster used as a Fusion Material.
