so my brother took a gamble and bought a ps3 from some lady he describes as "shady" for a bargain price when he got home, it turned on but no image showed on the screen. it turns out that the HMDI cord she supplied was poo poo, and upon using a new one, it works just fine we now have a ps3 are there any times when you took a risky gaming gamble and it paid off? PS: here's him installing madden
