went to look up a fact about my favorite movie from my childhood ghostbusters and someone edited it to say it was all women, who were the ghostbusters in the movie, which i know not to be true.

it's like that scene in heavy metal where the pilots keep turning into zombies except instead of pilots they're the ghost busters and instead of zombies they're women and instead of a plane it's your childhood and the evil ball represents capitalism

the wikipedia i was reading, as well as the other threads that i subsequently read appear to be about a reboot of ghostbusters, which has recently had its (all woman) starring cast announced. i'm excited to see this classic franchise rebooted, and am looking forward to what these talented and accomplished women will do to put a fresh spin on the premise.  no longer.
