I've got nothing against hip-hop, but it really doesn't suit the content and he goes on for way too long about it in the bumpers. Good lord, this. I've stopped listening to the pod casts just because of how much time he wastes on whatever hip hop song he likes that day.

I know when I read any of the articles that deal with history, there's a lot of gross oversimplifications and things that modern scholarship has more or less completely discredited. It's sort of par for the course for a pop-x website, but it's still rubs me the wrong way when it comes up.

Can you not just do private tours after hours or something? I went to a conference in Orlando a few years back, and they rented out a big section of Universal Studios for an evening "networking" event, which consisted of us getting real drunk and riding on roller coasters with no lines all night. It still took like 10 minutes to walk through the line area of some of it though, I can't imagine actually standing in line for that.

Solice Kirsk posted:So does the UK just have a stable of actors that do nothing but show up on fake game shows or something? The best thing about it is that they've figured out that real game shows were bullshit. So instead of nonsense like @Midnight, where they inexplicably cling to the illusion of the game show format with short trivia responses, the BBC knows that all you really need to do is put a bunch of comedians in a room and let them talk to each other, and the "game" element is just the host throwing out a conversation topic.
