i live in the humid south so in the summer we have frogs that are kind enough to hang out on the front porch and keep the bugs at bay frogs are p sweet |

these little guys show up at my parent's house all the time. this one is sitting on the cat's bed on the porch.  my parents put a daybed on the porch for naps in spring and summer, and sometimes you'll wake up with a froggy under the covers with you

when i was a kid, the puddles in the woods behind my house would dry up in the summer sun. they had tadpoles in them one year and some evaporated until it was just a moist mass of tadpoles, so i moved them to the pond. i tried to raise a few to frogs but i didn't really know how and tried to feed them ham |

frog are good indicators of a healthy watershed because their skin is highly permeable, htey breathe thru their skin! if you see a heron/egret it's a good sign bc they like to eat frawgs and frawgs are the first to die when pollution hits
