Got my stainless series 2 watch with link band yesterday and I'm in love. This is my first Apple Watch and it's exactly what I wanted.

I'm not concerned about the price difference. Just return the drat thing and upgrade. You get a faster processor, insane water proofing, potentially better battery life, and GPS. Also like some goons said when Watch OS4 comes out in a year Apple will probably pull a your watch is too lovely to upgrade thing.

I'm sure it's nicely made and all that, but come on... It's already an expensive gadget, save yourself £400 (!) and get a third party one. I paid $1700 for my last Tag, a grand didn't sound too bad for a slick watch. I can forever move it forward when I upgrade too.

I just looked and couldn't find one. Try removing poo poo from the dock. I think those apps run constantly. You can also disable background refresh for apps you don't think need it.

So I was bitching on the last page about my Watch's speakerphone capability having a range of like 3 feet. So I unpaired(wiped) then repair'd the drat thing and it's now behaving like it should. I have no clue what the gently caress that was.
