I had a paper route from the time I was in middle school until sometime in late high school. It was pretty good money for 6-7 hours a week, and the savings I had from that paid for my first semester of university, my entire first year of rent plus all the poo poo I bought and all my books and fees and all that bullshit. I did not work my first year. Then I moved again and that's when I started working and resumed classes at another university.
