I believe I have found the culprit. When I visit the site through tethering on my mobile phone, there's no problem. I use Overplay's Smart DNS-servers (https://www.overplay.net) in my router, so when I go around those, it works. https://www.dr.dk is one of the sites Overplay fixes. I'm posting the thread anyway, since it can be a difficult problem to track down. I will also contact Overplay support. If you're wondering, I thought of the probable solution, as I was filling out the location-field at the bottom, since Overplay makes e.g Netflix think I'm in a different location from where I am. But the underlying problem isn't solved, since Netflix seems to have begun some fuckery to make Overplay non-functioning. Support said that issue has been escalated to second level support. Problem description: When I try to visit https://www.dr.dk/tv in Chrome, I get an "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR". It also happens in Internet Explorer, although with a considerably less helpful message ("This page cannot be displayed"). I'm using https://mail.google.com https://www.facebook.com and my https-banking website with no problems. I have just received a new laptop (specs below); it didn't happen on the old one, although it HAD been a while since I went to that page on that. I also uninstalled Norton Internet Security (preinstalled) as soon as possible and installed Bitdefender Free. Attempted fixes: Went through all the updates in Windows Update. It's clear right now. https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=www.dr.dk shows the certificate and chain to be ok. I do have the "GlobalSign Root CA" in my certificate list (IE - Settings - Content - Certificates). I have tried to disable Bitdefender Free which gives no change. If I visit https://www.dr.dk I get the same error (just in case the /tv-URL redirected to another server). Recent changes: It's a new laptop, as described above. -- Operating system: Windows 8.1 "with bing" 64 bit. System specs: Packard Bell laptop, model ENTG71BM-C69S (from the PB registration site), model number MS2397 (from the sticker on the bottom). Processor: Intel Celeron CPU N2840, 2.16 GHz Memory 4 GB Chrome version 41.0.2272.76 m Location: Denmark I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yesb
