Problem: Firefox now has a small black bar at the bottom of the screen, as shown in this picture here. Attempted fixes: Tried rebooting Firefox and tried a few solutions from what I could find on Google (like moving my taskbar and min-maxing my screen), but my Google-Fu is weak and I couldn't really find any solutions. I checked IE: It doesn't have this issue. I don't want to reinstall/clean wipe or whatever Firefox because I think that erases all my cookies and passwords (does it?) Recent Changes: A printer I just installed asked me to install a toolbar. I did, then clicked it off general visibility. I tried disabling the toolbar in Firefox add ons but that didn't help. Also, Firefox updated just before that, so it's possible it was the update. Operating System: Windows 7 (if that matters) I Googled and read the FAQ, couldn't find anything on Google that helped or really understood the problem. Might have been using the wrong search terms (I put in "Black bar at bottom of Firefox") Edit: Never mind. I ran my Avast antivirus to check for browser add-ons, it didn't come back with anything bad, but then it occurred to me after I posted this that I could adjust it to show all add-ons. I use it to remove the printer add-on I'd just installed and the black bar vanished. Sorry for getting ahead of myself. Cornwind Evil fucked around with this message at 09:38 on Mar 21, 2015 |
