Sure it might have some embellishments, but it's still the same tasteless stodge served everywhere.

I guess Gallia's army was nuked by Selvaria in VC1 and they still haven't managed to...yeah I dunno. Gotta admit though, didn't expect a CG of armored soldiers killing unarmed civilians. Sad to say that's the first thing that makes me respect the game more so far.

VC1 sorta did this with Welkin's knowledge of nature, but it felt way less contrived cause he was the son of a famous general and was a smart person in his own right. I'm not against the trope, but you should at least be creative with it.

I am seriously starting to dislike Zeri. He's not nearly as cool or witty as the game thinks he is and he seems to always be starting poo poo in these character skits. I mean okay, this time it's in character. He's a Darcsen and he's obviously nursing a grudge against Imperials. But how many times has he insulted or got into verbal slap fights with other characters over petty poo poo?
