Even a lot of "purebred" breeders are terrible. AKC unfortunately doesn't mean much, terrible breeders can register with them. As much as there's a hate on in AI for Pet Island, go in there, post sensibly, be open to criticism, and there's a ton of good advice. A lot of people there know a ton about various breeds, and can often find/help identify decent breeders, or at least point out red flags. The rescue route is a phenomenal one, my dog is a rescue and I don't think I could get lucky enough to "buy" one of her attitude and awesomeness from a breeder.

Fuckin' a. The DiRT 3 Steamworks patch finally hit. If you picked up DiRT 3 on Steam in the past, you should have the Complete Edition with all the DLC as a sort of "Thanks for being so patient" reward in your library.

Complete Edition owns bones, too. Lots of classic stuff like an Escort Mk. II, Lancia Stratos, '95 Impreza, and a Peugeot 205 T16 to name a few

I should reinstall Dirt3 sometime, too. That was a lot of fun but I stuck to the MP aspect of the game, and after a year or so it was pretty empty a lot of the time.

I loved that if you were host you were able to force cockpit view for everyone else if you wanted to, à la iracing.

I've been doing (mostly) paleo for 3 months. Minimal carbs and sugar. No change in lifestyle or exercise.

I'm down 10 lbs, 2 inches at waist, 1.5 at chest, .75 at thighs (6ft2, 195 now)

Blood work is back, and cholesterol is 153/40, Triglycerides are 125, LDL is 90. Glucose is 80.

All are 'in range' for the first time in about 10 years.
