The worst part of the Zelda games is the inevitable kart racing minigame.

Unironically Spirit Tracks is really bad. It's the only game in the series that I find genuinely unfun to play.

This is what I've always heard, but I think I'd do it just as a catalyst for finally getting a DS flash cart, and then all the good poo poo that that entails

I may just play phantom hourglass again instead then, because that game is cool. The dungeon that you return to with new items that open up new but previously existing paths again and again is so cool

I like Hourglass a lot, even with its issues.

I'm playing through link between world's hero mode and it's pretty win. Which dark world dungeon has the armor, so I don't die in one hit

I'm playing Oracle of Ages now on the 3DS. It's great! I finished Phantom Hourglass even though the dungeoncrawl was annoying, kinda gave up on Spirit Tracks but will get back to it sooner or later. First I'm gonna clear the Oracle games and Majora's Mask 3D.

I never did play the Oracle games for gameboy. Those, and the DS ones (Hourglass and Spirit Tracks) are the only ones I haven't played. Oh I guess Skyward Sword too, but I have that and am at the first dungeon if I actually care to beat it.

Oracle of seasons was better than oracle of ages

Soral

early complaints of phantom hourglass included "why can't i sail my ship manually" so for the sequel, spirit tracks, they removed almost all control over the overworld map navigation entirely by putting everything on literal rails. bad zelda. just a no good zelda.

Jesus. Glad I skipped it then. I liked Phantom Hourglass okay and was thinking of checking Spirit Tracks out for fun. Now I guess I won't have to do that.

Phantom Hourglass had really fun dungeons surrounded by bullshit decisions, but it's mostly good.

what was wrong with the overworld stuff? I thought it was a smart way to transfer the wind waker feel to a handheld, and every item was fun to use. Getting sword upgrades was neat too, but I did play this game when it came out and haven't touched it since which was probably a long rear end time ago
