I'll vote for him in the primary for sure, but he'll lose and then I'll vote Green/Rainbow Party, probably gonna be Jill Stein again.

Bernie is surprisingly pro gun right?

Pretty easy to be pro-gun in a state where people are like "we just want to shoot deer, vermin, and protect ourselves from bears, but gently caress gun nuts"

Like even Gabby Giffords can get behind that

The only problem with a Bernie Sanders candidacy is that when Hillary beats him, all of her horrible blue dog supporters will point to Sanders and say "see you liberals had your shot and lost fair and square, now you have to fall in line and vote for Mrs. Goldman Sachs"

Part of me would prefer to have the weird-rear end no-challenger primary that Hillary was gunning for because the optics would more closely resemble what is actually happening in this party.

I guess that there's still the very real chance that Bernie will be ignored by the media and shutout of debates and events.

Yeah, if there's one thing leftists are good at, it's conceding defeat and unifying behind a single candidate.

Hillary's gonna have to purge some motherfuckers is what I'm trying to say

yeah it's pretty bad that he won both elections essentially by default because the Republicans couldn't put up sane candidates that responsible people could support, but thems the breaks.

Obama knows how to run a drat good campaign, don't take that away from him. It's just about the only thing he's good at. His ground game was good, targeted ads were good, he controlled the narrative well, and then when it looked like Romney might get close, booooom drop the 47% sound byte like a Hellfire missile on a Toyota in the desert. Republicans were just outplayed.

do you guys think it's smart that he is running as a dem

He's putting at least some of his money towards his campaign, and if I were a betting man, I would want a sliver of a chance of winning (run Democrat) vs no chance of winning (run Independent)

I deal with the FDA everyday. The FDA is a good thing. The Free Market isn't going to protect you from dying from spinal meningitis. lol

The only thing worse than the FDA would be no FDA

I see Bernie saying down with this and down with that, but what does Bernie want to bring up? Up with what, socialism?

I'd be all for that, I just want to see something constructive, not destructive

how about 1 trill in infrastructure spending

instant jobs and you're not going to be devoured by a collapsing bridge headed to work one day

I like this because I cross a bridge twice a day that was built in the 1930s and got a D+ on it's last report card.

I'm just looking forward to Sanders ripping Hillary a new rear end in a top hat and exposing her as part of the big money problem in the debates.

Part of me is like "Bernie could really do damage to Hillary's campaign before she eventually wins the nomination and that could hurt her in the national race" but then I remember that the Democrats and the GOP are the same party with a few little differences about how they gently caress over the poor

Norway does it by having a population of 5 million and a nationalized petroleum industry.

Think of what we could do if we nationalized all of our industries. Full socialism now, lead the way Bernie

Just turn the voting day to a loving Sunday, would that be too hard?
