At the Intel Developer Forum, Fossil showed off their new smart watch: Just kidding, it's round-with-flat-tire and runs Android Wear.  I wonder how similar it will prove to be to the TAG Heuer design, which is also being done in collaboration with Intel.

I didn't think the minor graphical tweaks in Android Wear 1.3 (LCA43/LCA44B) would make any difference, but I have to say I really like them, at least on my square Wear device. I really like the graphical look now with the full width info segments.

The Amazon listing has been taken down. I guess that wasn't supposed to go up until closer to 9/2. Before it disappeared, a stainless steel with stainless steel link band color option was spotted halfway between the stainless steel with leather strap and black stainless steel price points.

My boss has a G Watch R and also had to send it in for warranty repair. Something about thermal expansion during charging affecting the display connector. His didn't go to snow though, it blipped in and out.

Fossil is starting to ramp up their marketing info about their "Fossil Q" line. No real info, just confirmation there will be a "connected bracelet" (fitness tracker, I assume), a "connected non-display watch", and a round face display (with flat tire) Android Wear watch with an Intel processor.
