Holy poo poo that Vancouver/Edmonton game. I blame VanOekel for both of the Vancouver goals, what a bitch. I'm pretty sure that the emotional trauma of losing in the 97th minute will haunt FCE and they won't win another NASL game all year.

Paddyb posted:Just turned on the Indianapolis/Louisville game which was scoreless in overtime. Louisville scored two in the last five minutes ftw. I was at this game and it was terrible. 1 hour rain delay plus overtime spent watching my team get destroyed by a brand new lower division side. Indy Eleven is the worst team in the NASL, and none of the players give a poo poo. Ugh. Overall, I'm pretty sure the USL went 7-0 vs NASL teams tonight, which is pathetic. Not really bolstering their case to keep D2 status. Edit: also how did you watch the game?? They said there wasn't going to be a stream.

This sets up a St Louis vs Kansas City matchup in the next round, which is something that is...interesting, to put it lightly. Shame I work late that day: I've got family in KC that could put me up for the night and know people that have extra tickets. Plus it's been too drat long since I've eaten Oklahoma Joe's/Bryant's/Gates.

I hear good things about that stadium. The Revs are entering the US Open Cup next round, facing the Charlotte Independe-- HEY WAIT A SEC Those horses are gonna hit each other, and it won't be pretty. 3,200-capacity Soldier's Field in Cambridge, MA will be the venue. I can walk there from my house. Should be a good time. I feel like USOC coverage is way, way up this year. In that there IS coverage of anything besides the final. That's a positive trend.
