I'm thinking it was King Leon all along, and he's playing us.

She's going to make him build an 11th floor, fill it with flower gardens and plush beds and poo poo, and then put a bigass lock on the door and have a badass dungeon home.

Something I was wondering, how does the game deal with you entering the dungeon each day? You don't have to walk down through every floor, and go down each hole, do you? Can you leave the dungeon and re-enter it?

I actually like that ending, because it basically spells out that the Demon Lord was full of crap. Sure, we killed his son, but he just went back to hell and is now perfectly fine. In the end, all we really did was wound their ego. And even worse, we accomplished their objective for them! We cracked a loving hole into hell so now they can come and go as they please. In the end, the dungeon digger was the true bad guy!
