You know how Roger Ebert grades films based on how well they did what they were trying to do? I think that by that metric, the Highschool DxD ending sequence is one of the greatest things ever made. Not gonna link it, though.

Gasaraki is an interesting show, if maybe not a good one. On one hand it's maybe the closest an anime has ever gotten to asking 'how would mecha suits actually work in the real world?' so you have these lumbering very tank-like but more versatile machines and a very political plot but it's also has a weird secondary plot about aliens and time travel or something, like you couldn't possibly make a mecha show in a post-Evangelion world without that stuff.
