It depends where you had it. It's just fried chicken with a waffle on the side it's not disgusting unless it's piled with powdered sugar Or something. The good places don't even put syrup or hot sauce on iitbut rather serve it on the side to let you add it to taste. Also it's not even southern food, the modern version was invented either in harlem or los Angeles
