 Little strange to most people I know...but I absolutely LOVE tamarind sauce. I use it on a ton of things and its just amazing tastewise. I use it on my burgers, and dip fries in it, and generally anywhere I would use ketchup etc I use the tamarind. I add some to my BBQ sauce and people go nuts over it...they can never figure out what it is :)

So so so good.

I've only got tamarind concentrate to use for cooking, if you make it I'd try to make a usable sauce from my concentrate. I love the sambals that have tamarind in them.

I buy it from the local Indian store. They make it fresh on site, so I go about once a week or so to get my fix. It's almost a chutney but not as chunky...it only has a few chunky bits in it.

I've tried making it myself with the concentrate but its not quite the same. Still good though!
