Watch anything by Studio Ghibli, I think it’s only anime by technicality Definitely watch Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure… every week is like the most INSANE sports-entertainment standoff(excuse the pun), except you’ll never see poo poo this HYPE on Monday Night RAW I doubt you've heard of this little title…”Legend of the Galactic Heroes” Well sir, you should def watch it, especially if you could enjoy Game of Thrones…..AND Star wars! (don’t watch next ep previews (contains spoliers), start with movies 1+2, keep at it for at least 30 eps, laser disc rips preferred) Death Parade is like if you took the humour, puzzles and Mexican culture out of Grim Fandango If emotional stories about personal discovery (in space) is your bag, then Planetes (translates as wanderers) should hit the mark. It’s like Interstellar done by Studio Ghibli. I think Neon Genesis Evangelion is a worthwhile watch, because it’s a cross-between the epic monster-punch marathon movie Pacific Rim and the cult classic Pi Turn-A Gundam is also like Game of Thrones, but this time with a Transformers twist. though actually now I think about it the transformers don’t talk or even transform but anyway its good poo poo Movie suggestion here: Patema Inverted is recent and has a really good blu-rei release. It’s like Studio Ghibli meets VVVVVV Remember Charlies Angels? Also remember oldies like Tora! Tora! Tora! Welp, it’s time for you to watch Kancoelle-poi You should check out Gurren Lagann. It’s like Evangelion on crack! But also way more chill. The second season is on steroids though!! “There are some things I just have to see!”! Uhmm…. Watch Chihayafuru If you like cringe comedy, then Watamote blends the excellent George Michael scenes from Arrested development with Your Own Personal Awkward Phase! The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya (Haruhi Suzumiya No Yuutsu) is a Staggering Work of Incredible Genius, and assuming you enjoyed Groundhog Day, you will love Haruhi because it’s like that but 50% longer but with highschool girls instead of Andie MacDowell Do you think you are going to enjoy the upcoming hollywood blockbuster Ghost in the Shell? If so, it’s probably a good idea to check out Ghost in the Shell, where Blade Runner and Minority Report collide, there’s also boobs Lupin III: Castle of Cognition = The Pink Panther movies + Studio Ghibli = a real wild ride Ping Pong the Animation [mod edit: 300 gifs removed from post, if you do this again i will destroy you] How abouit a sketch show? Daily Lives of Highschool Boys is a winning combo of BBC sitcom The Inbetweeners and uh... Studio Ghibli?? Steins;Gate... more like Doc;Brown! It’s got fun & wacky BttF time-travelling antics, along with some DaVinci Code style conspiracy plots! Warning: contains multiple references to 2ch, the japanese 4chan Cowboy bebbop is literally firefly like pirates and ninjas? If you do and you also enjoyed the previous suggestion then, Samurai Champloo. Also watch this if you like Studio Ghibli My Neighbour Totoro disney plus Studio ghibli k-on. studio ghibli. sstudio Ghiiibbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

MeinGott A very mellow, very chill show about 4 girls starting a high school band through their Light Music Club. No conflict, no problems, no giant mechas destroying the town. Just sweets, tea, and light music. Grashlok The thing about K-On! is that it's lack of depth is its strong point. Lack of depth is not something you could normally attribute positively, but it works so well in the series. K-On! follows a group of friends going through everyday life. It's not meant to be dramatic. It's not meant to be anything profound. But that's why it's so good. It has a great flow of comedy, and, if you've ever hung out with a group of friends, then I'm sure you can appreciate the humor in the show. K-On! just shows those special times in friendship and it does that really well.

Monster is a fantastic psychological thriller about a doctor trying to kill serial killer whose life he saved when he was younger. If it was live action it wouldn't look out of place on network tv.

Clanpot Shake This is a long series, weighing in at 74 episodes, which is a bit too hefty for my tastes. That said, I did enjoy this series. The story is engaging and realistic. It's a nice break from giant robots fighting each other in space with rape tentacles. The show often tries to feel suspenseful or frightening, but feels insincere at times. The final episode was genuinely frightening, and there were a few good moments here and there, but overall I watched it because I wanted to know what happened. Character development is top notch, as is the story. Overall, this is a good series in a genre that doesn't have enough representatives. If you have the time, I recommend it. The_White_Crane This came highly recommended as an excellent psychological thriller, and I can't say that it failed in that regard. The story compelling and suspenseful, and I found that my sympathies shifted throughout the series. However, I felt that it would have been significantly improved if it were about a dozen episodes shorter. There was nothing I would call filler, but there were quite often episodes which spent a fairly large proportion of their time rehashing things you'd already seen. While I can imagine this being useful if you were watching it at a one-episode-per week pace, I found that it caused the series to become wearing after a while. On the whole, I recommend watching it if you have any interest in the premise, but there may be times when you would be best off skimming through half an episode or so.
