I think we should stick with GBS for now. Though they're not the ideal audience by any stretch of the imagination, they're still a very large audience. And if the jerk quotient seemed higher than usual this time around, that really might be down to the theme, which was pretty divisive even for the participants.

Theme ideas that I always liked but never quite materialized AFAIK:
  • A royalty/aristocracy theme, i.e. songs with queens, kings, princes, dukes, etc. in the title or lyrics.
  • Covers of a specific pop/rock superstar with a ton of hits to choose from, e.g. Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, Dylan, Springsteen, U2, etc. (We've done Elvis and Bowie, and the latter in particular was hugely successful.)
