The problem, stated simply, is that, in episode 1, there is a scene of him, bald, in what appears to be the year 2014. Then, a few episodes later, there is a scene that takes place 2000 years later, where he is unfrozen, and appears much younger than he did in 2014 (e.g. with hair).

He spent all his money on cryonics (and rogaine).
