the whole thing with beats and monster is pretty funny, IIRC noel lee sent his son to go negotiate with dre & iovine and ended up with a lovely contract with lots of escape clauses couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people gently caress monster

when i worked at best buy i'd buy monster stuff with the employee discount (company cost + 10%) and then resell it on ebay where dummies would pay full price for the stuff welp thats my monster story
