Speak up, there's something in my ear.

I played this game for a few months 2 years ago and made it to lvl 32. Is that at least halfway through the 120 MSQ missions you all are talking about?

Jesus. I assume they're tied to dungeons so I won't be able to solo them all, yeah?

I was able to make a character last Friday at about 9:00PM, but with new people coming back this may not be the case. Gaming with Goons is way more fun and people can help you out with baby starter gear. I'm new too.

Can you transfer to Excalibur?

DGKK is home to most of the FFXI players who wish XIV was more like XI.

What about the other 2?

TPT has a spoiler policy, the other two are more lax on that. That's about it. Pick what house/name you like most.

I'm pretty new, how do I check out the houses?

This is XI all over again. I can't pick a class to progress through the MSQ in time for Stormblood.

If I may ask, what is the state of WAR these days?

Hahaha I had narrowed my first ever class choice to BLM, WAR, or DRG.

Also in terms of button count, I have 22 buttons I push regularly on my BLM and 30 on my MCH.

Is 22 low? What's the lowest class?

Only the non-combat emotes like /dance have race/gender differences, though I don't know of any online video of them. Generally dragon lady emotes go for 'dramatic anime', catboy emotes go for 'cute catboy', catgirl emotes go for... well, exactly what you'd expect an anime catgirl to be like. Dunno the others since I've never really been them.

I rolled Au Ra 2 years ago and something seems off about them. That might just be me fearing the tail/horn clipping. Maybe it's time to relive my Elvaan days.

They certainly put the 'waif' into 'waifu', that's for certain. If you'd seen concept art of female Au Ra you'd see that they originally had a completely different aesthetic with a lot less gender dimorphism.

I play a male.

Are tank queues really that much faster than dps? It seems like healers must be the ones with instant queues.

For those of us that missed the gear cutoff, how much PvP am I going to have to do to pass the MSQ?
