Vanilla Starbound is misery. Vanilla Starbound is like Samsara but enlightenment is when you uninstall the game.

Modded Starbound is better but it suffers from the same kind of bloat modded Minecraft does. Plus you have to deal with at least one reprehensible ballsack who's been stealing everyone else's work.

Terraria is still solid as hell.
